A “Closed” Session of the City Council/Calexico Community Redevelopment Agency Successor Agency/ Calexico Financing Authority may be held in accordance with state law which may include, but is not limited to, the following types of items: personnel matters, labor negotiations, security matters, providing instructions to real property negotiators and conference with legal counsel regarding pending litigation. The Closed Session will be held in the City Hall Conference Room located at 608 Heber Avenue, Calexico, California. Any public comment on Closed Session items will be taken before the Closed Session. Any required announcements or discussion of Closed Session items or actions following the Closed Session will be made in the City Council Chambers, 608 Heber Avenue, Calexico, California.

3. Approval of City Council/Calexico Community Redevelopment Agency Successor Agency/Calexico Financing Authority Minutes for Meeting of December 13, 2016.

4. Warrants from December 4th 2017 to December 24th and City Salaries & Benefits from December 9th to December 22nd, 2017.

5. Resolution of the City Council of the City of Calexico Pursuant to Public Contracts Code (PCC) Section 20168 Finding that an Emergency Exists Due to the Need for a New Variable Frequency Drive at the Water Treatment Plant and Authorize Contracting without the need for Binding Pursuant to PCC Section 22050.

6. Adopt Budget Amendment Resolution (BAR) Approving the Transfer of Funds from the Public Works Parks Maintenance Division to Public Works Facilities – Building Maintenance.

7. Approve and Authorize the City Manager to Sign the Enclosed Commercial Lease Agreement with the Mexican Consulate.

8. Authorize Interim City Manager to Sign Change Order No. 1 with Game Time/Great Western in the Amount of $46,077.41 for installation and surfacing of Cordova Park Playground Renovation through U.S. Communities Government Purchasing Alliance.

9. Award Bid from A&R Construction in the amount of $1,340,302.75 and Authorize Interim City Manager to sign Construction Agreement with A&R Construction for the Fifth Street and Grant Avenue Water
Mains Improvement Project. 

10. Approve and adopt the Interim City Manager Employment Agreement between the City of Calexico and David Dale.
