CALL TO ORDER

Due to the Declaration of Emergency, this meeting is being held pursuant to AB 361 Approved by Governor of California on September 16, 2021 and some or all of the city council members may participate in this meeting by teleconference.

Pursuant to Imperial County Public Health Department guidelines, City Council meetings are now open for public attendance at 100% of capacity of the council chambers and all persons entering City Hall will be required to wear a facemask.

The Mayor will recognize you and when you come to the microphone, please state your name and place of residence for the record. While members of the public are encouraged to participate, it is unlawful to disturb or delay the Council meeting with personal or slanderous remarks. The City Council is prohibited by State law from taking action or discussing items not included on the printed agenda. CONSENT AGENDA
All matters listed under the Consent Calendar are to be considered routine by the City Council/Calexico Community Redevelopment Agency Successor Agency or Calexico Financing Authority and will be enacted by one motion in the form listed. Any item may be removed from the Consent Calendar and considered separately by the City Council.

3. Approval of City Council/Calexico Community Redevelopment Agency Successor Agency/Calexico Financing Authority Minutes for Meetings of September 15, 2021.

4. Warrants from October 9, 2021 to October 22, 2021 and City Salaries October 9, 2021 to October 22, 2021.

5. Approval of Application for Alcoholic Beverage License for S & N Fuels, Inc., Calexico Market & Gas, 724 Emerson Avenue, Suite A, Calexico, CA 92231.

6. Approve a Side Letter of Understanding between the City of Calexico and the Calexico Police officers’ Association for the Remaining Term Beginning July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2023.

7. Adoption of the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Calexico and the Calexico Certified Operators SEIU Local 221 (SEIU) for the Term Beginning July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2022.

8. Approve Resolution of the City Council of the City of Calexico Approving the City’s Use of American Rescue Plan Act Funds to Provide Up to $ 7,000 Per Full Time and Part Time Eligible Employee.

10. Authorize City Manager to Sign Amendment No. 4 to the Agreement of Professional Services with Panorama Environmental, Inc. for Technical and Regulatory Assistance for New River Improvement Project – Calexico Reach.

11. Authorize City Manager to Sign Agreement of Professional Services with AE Consulting, Inc. for Construction Management and Inspection Services for the Calexico International Airport Taxiway A Rehabilitation Project FAA AIP No. 3-06-0034-018-2020; 3-06-0034-021-2021.

12. Authorize City Manager to Purchase Grass Seed, Fertilizer and Sport Soil in the Amount of $31,924.68 from SiteOne Landscape Supply for Adrian C. Cordova Memorial Baseball Fields.

13. Approval for Sole Source Purchase of Mobile Data Terminal Computers/Tablets.

14. Discussion and Potential Action Regarding Request from Calexico Baja Runners for a Contribution of $300.00 Towards the Purchase of Provisions for Veteran’s Day Ceremony (Request by Mayor Moreno).
